Flying all the way from New Zealand (I'm a NZer) for this concert.
Actually can't believe I'm actually going to be there!
First time seeing Sammy in concert doing some of the VH stuff.
I did see VH in 2012 with DLR, grew up with the Van Hagar stuff.
So looking forward to it!
I was watching some video's on Youtube the other day and it occurred to me that it sure would be cool if Sammy would bring Vic Jonson along on this tour! I really don't understand why this is not happening. I get that he didn't feel comfortable playing lead on some of the E.V.H. stuff. But WTF? He can damn sure play rhythm guitar! Why not add another guitar? This band is basically Chickenfoot with a different drummer, or The Circle with a different lead guitar. BRING VIC ALONG FOR THE RIDE!
I will be there, with my wife, a good friend, and my 13 year old son who will turn 14 the next day. His first time to see Sammy!
